In order to take action, one must first take a moment to reflect and understand what is happening around oneself. And this is why we’ve divided our playlist into 2 main acts, the first is aimed at giving you the chance to look inward, maybe sob a bit, maybe set fire to your belongings in a cleansing ritual.

The second act will help you channel your new found clarity in a constructive way, maybe start a riot, maybe infiltrate the system from the inside and after years of undercover work, tear it down.

Mayaline and Marc.

Editor’s note: This list is a contribution from the band LUMI. Lumi are a two-piece alternative electronic rock band from Beirut, Lebanon, with Marc Codsi on synths and drum machines & Mayaline Hage on vocals and guitar. The band is launching their new album The Night Was A Liar on April 30th at KED in Beirut. The album was recorded at Thee Mighty Hotel2Tango in Montreal under the watchful eyes of producer Radwan Moumneh (Jerusalem in my Heart) and with the help of SUUNS’ Liam O’Neil on drums and Jessica Moss on violin. Check out the event on this link for more details!
