Seduced by the early underground electronic music scene in London, maks began to develop his interest in mixing and producing records in raw and bootleg form. On the 31st of December 2015, maks fulfilled one of his career milestones by playing the very first new years eve edition of the internationally recognized, Groove On The Grass festival in the UAE, alongside one of his longstanding influences, inspirations, and role-models: Richie Hawtin (MINUS)… Also lined-up was PLUS8 label co founder: John Acquaviva (PLUS8), and a carefully hand-picked collection of the strongest local techno support acts…

Since relocating to the Middle-East a few years ago, maks has become immersed in the rapidly developing techno and minimal scene around the region due to his addiction for digging for the freshest and most unique sounds combined with, his methodically mesmerizing and dance-floor captivating track selection in every performance…

The end of 2015 brought another milestone for maks, as he completed the year long, 10 episode, MIND_ curated podcast series which was widely received and acclaimed by his peers around the region, and back home in the UK, and became well known for it’s boundary-pushing, and intelligent selections.
