Guy Laliberté gave a sneak peek into one of his newest ideas, Candy World, this past Saturday for his 60th birthday celebration at The LIGHT in Vegas.

The eccentric entrepreneur arrived in a sugar-coated attire ready to celebrate his birthday. He took center stage with his DJ partner, Nico Stojan, playing back to back, until Isiah Martin hopped on and continued to play with the birthday king late into the night. Prior, Laurence Matte opened the night. Each DJ was hand-selected and specifically brought on stage by Guy Laliberté.

The club’s main dance floor speakers provide crystalline pristine sound, perfect for thumping beats heard from all around the stadium seating style club. Strobes, lasers and hazers added to the production while the club’s state-of-the-art LED screens created a 360 degree view of moving lights, all changing into different geometric shapes and colors. Candy-coated imagery and phrases like “Sugar Daddy” and “rabbit hole” blinked in rotation on and off as pink, green, and blue lasers shot through the room.

Glow-in-the-dark dancers surrounded the venue, oversized lollipops, plush bears and boxed candy sets draped from the ceiling as stunning visuals looped on all screens.
