I’m a journalist and researcher from Boston and Beirut. As a media studies graduate, I spend time researching issues related to media, focusing on gender and sexuality. As a music lover, I spend time in the dark annals of YouTube, checking out new artists and pairing songs with friends’ personalities. Ask me to choose a favorite musical artist and I’ll break out in a cold sweat. Ask me to define anything about myself and I’ll break out in a cold sweat. Although my musical interests shift on any given day, some constants are Deer Tick, PJ Harvey, The Dø, TV On The Radio, Brown Bird, Of Montreal, and The Cure, in no particular order.
