Hussein Kataya plays different music genres from House, Deep House, Soulful House, Tech House, Progressive House & Melodic Techno. Being in love with music his whole life from listening to international DJ’s to local and foreign radio stations, Hussein started his DJ career at his early teenage by buying a simple mixer, speakers and a headphones setup in his bedroom and started teaching himself how to mix, cut and merge tracks. Earlier to that Hussein used to play drums since his father was a musician. The passion for music he has got him fired from school for listening to music during class. Today Hussein is one of the well known DJ’s in Lebanon who knows how to make a crowd of people dance and enjoy every single beat. Hussein was motivated by great local and foreign DJs who loved his music and attitude behind the decks. Now he is known as KATAYA.
